Illustrative preview · CourtAhead is in development.
Understand roles without losing the history
The same case can involve parties, former and current lawyers, witnesses and other participants. The planned People view keeps roles and representation relationships connected to relevant records. A change of attorney should retain its effective period so an older message or filing can still be understood in the context that applied at the time.
Correct identities before relying on them
Similar names and incomplete contact details can create misleading associations. CourtAhead is being designed to distinguish uncertain matches and let you correct names, roles and relationships. A person’s record should lead to related papers and messages, while factual source material stays separate from private notes and unverified assumptions about that person.
From question to next step
1
Identify people
Review parties, lawyers, witnesses and other people found in your records.
2
Connect the record
Find related messages, documents and work without rebuilding the context.
3
Keep details current
Record corrections and changes in representation without losing the history.
Connected work
As your case develops
The planned People view connects case participants to the work where they matter. Similar names, uncertain matches and changes of lawyer need review rather than being silently treated as the same person.
Your decisions
You stay in control
Adding a person is a directory action. It does not invite them, share files or grant access to your case.
No. A People entry identifies someone connected to the case. It does not send an invitation, grant access or share records.
Can extracted information be corrected?
Yes, correction is part of the intended design. Names, roles and relationships need source context, and uncertain identity matches should remain visibly uncertain.
