Open CourtAhead and choose the path that best describes what is happening now. You can continue a case that has already started, begin a new case, or ask CourtAhead to help you figure out which path fits.
Use this when court papers, hearings, filings, or other case events already exist.
Use this when you are preparing a case that has not yet been filed.
Describe what is happening in ordinary language. CourtAhead uses that description to ask focused questions, not as a verified court history.
Add what you have
If you are continuing an existing case, you can start with one PDF or a mixed batch. You do not need to rename, sort, or classify the files first.
You can also begin with the case details you know or explain what is happening. An “I don’t know” answer is useful—it keeps a gap visible instead of forcing a guess.
Review before confirming
CourtAhead may propose people, dates, events, and connections it finds in your files. These proposed readings stay outside the confirmed case record until you review them.
- Open the linked source and check the page or passage.
- Confirm an item when the proposed reading is accurate.
- Correct it when the supporting document shows something different.
- Reject it when it does not belong in the case map.
Confirming adds an event to your case map and connects it to a record. It does not by itself prove filing, delivery, court acceptance, authenticity, or legal effect.
Open the case map
After reviewing the proposed events, open the case map to see what happened, what still needs context, and which question or action may deserve attention next. Select any event to inspect its details, sources, and current state.
If no next action can be supported yet, CourtAhead should show the next verification task instead of inventing a recommendation.
